Résumé files and profile text

PDF and TXT uploads are processed temporarily to extract editable text. The original uploaded file is not retained. In public search, extracted text stays in your browser for the visit and recognized skills are sent to search. When you save your application profile, the résumé text you review is stored with your contact details, headline, introduction, work experience, education, portfolio projects, links, skills, work-authorization answer and submission consent under your account. Do not include information you do not want used for the applications you authorize.

Search requests

Search phrases, locations, filters and recognized skills are sent to the catalog API. Public results are limited to English-language jobs with identified United States eligibility. Requests may appear in ordinary infrastructure logs. Job matching compares listed skills and keywords; it does not require an external AI service.

Saved roles and onboarding drafts

Bookmarked job identifiers stay in this browser’s local storage. The role and work location entered on the home page are kept temporarily in session storage to prefill your profile. Clearing browser storage removes those local records.

Signed-in discovery

We store your selected preferences, passed jobs and application history under your account. For a connected GitHub account, public profile details and repository languages may be cached as optional profile and skill suggestions; private repositories are not requested. New profiles can prefill name, verified email, public location and profile links. Saved edits are preserved. Profile photos can load from the sign-in provider. Skills affect matching only after you confirm them. Google and LinkedIn sign-in are shown only when configured for this deployment.

Reusable application answers

When an employer asks for missing information, your answers are saved for that application. Only supported factual answers can be reused across applications, with the reuse choice shown to you. Separately requested name components are saved to your profile for future employer forms; the initial setup asks only for your full name. You can review and forget saved answers from your profile. Answers to verification, signatures, demographic or legal-acceptance steps are not collected for automatic reuse.

Applications you authorize

Tapping Apply for me starts an application workflow using your confirmed profile and submission consent. Where an employer application can be completed, those facts and résumé text may be sent to that employer. Missing questions, unsupported forms or other required steps pause the application for your input. We mark an application submitted only after employer confirmation. Manual applications follow the employer’s own privacy practices.

Application assistance

For ambiguous form labels, Vercel AI Gateway may classify which contact field is requested. These requests contain field labels, not your contact details or résumé. Your confirmed application data is supplied directly to the employer form. We do not invent experience or eligibility answers.

Profile suggestions

Autocomplete uses job titles, companies, locations and a skills vocabulary from the catalog; it does not send every keystroke to an AI provider. Suggestions from your profile use code. When you explicitly choose Suggest with AI, up to 20,000 characters of your working résumé and professional profile facts are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the configured model provider. Suggestions include source evidence and require your review. Applying a suggestion changes the working draft; it is stored only when you save. AI can make mistakes and does not determine identity, work authorization or consent. Profile AI suggestions and résumé drafts share a daily usage allowance.

AI résumé drafts

When you choose Create draft or Tailor résumé in your dashboard, your working experience text, target role and any job description you provide are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the configured model provider. Drafts can contain errors: review names, dates, qualifications and achievements before saving. Generated text replaces your saved résumé only when you choose Save to profile. Daily drafting limits store usage counts, not another copy of your résumé.

Payments

When paid plans are available, Stripe hosts checkout and subscription management. Jobbify stores the identifiers and subscription state needed to provide your plan; card details are handled by Stripe. Paid plans currently use Stripe sandbox checkout. Test payments do not collect real money.

Analytics choices

Essential cookies support secure sign-in and account sessions and work without analytics consent. Optional Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights load only after you choose Accept analytics. Vercel’s tools measure aggregate visits and performance without analytics cookies; Google Analytics may set analytics cookies. Essential only keeps all optional analytics off. Advertising features are disabled. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control override analytics consent and keep optional analytics off.

We exclude profile, discovery, administration, sign-in and API pages from analytics. We remove URL queries and fragments before sending public page measurements. We do not send résumé text, contact details, application answers or applicant custom events to analytics. Your versioned analytics preference is stored in this browser. You can change it below or through Cookie settings in the footer. Choosing Essential only disables future analytics measurements and removes Google Analytics cookies set by this site.

Your account data

Your profile, preferences, application records and plan state remain associated with your account. For help accessing or deleting account data, contact support@jobbify.works. Turning off submission consent in your profile stops authorization for future applications you start.
